We are based in Nangloi, specifically in the Nangloi Jat area of Delhi. The name on the door says Skiwaytutorials. It’s a place where students come after their regular school hours are over. Our rooms are pretty simple with desks, chairs, and whiteboards that always have some half-erased math or science notes on them. It’s not a big fancy academy. It’s just a local spot where kids can get some extra help with their books. The streets outside are usually busy with traffic, but inside we try to keep it focused. We spend our evenings explaining things that didn't make sense in class earlier that day. Sometimes we stay late if a big exam is coming up. The teachers here are just regular people who happen to be good at certain subjects. We don't have a big glossy brochure. Most parents just walk in because they live nearby and heard we help out with the syllabus. We deal with all sorts of students, some who are struggling and some who just want to do a bit better. We don't promise miracles, we just sit down and go through the chapters one by one. It’s a lot of repetition and practice. That’s how learning works, after all. We’ve been in Nangloi for some time now and we've seen a lot of kids grow up and move on to college. It's just what we do here every day, helping with homework and test prep.
