Our office is located on the first floor of Plot No-A-5/1 in Shyam Vihar Phase II, Najafgarh. Shokeen Green Properties Private Limited is basically just a small team of us who grew up around here and decided to get into the real estate business. We focus almost entirely on Najafgarh because that’s where our roots are. It’s a busy area, and the property market can get a bit messy with all the different plots and local regulations. We don’t have a big, shiny corporate headquarters. Our space is pretty simple—just some desks, a lot of folders, and a pot of tea always going. We spend most of our time meeting with families who are looking for a place to build or move into. We don’t do any high-pressure sales stuff. If a plot is good, we say so, and if it has issues, we mention those too. It’s important to us that people in the neighborhood can trust what we’re saying. We do a lot of walking around to check on sites and talk to other owners. The traffic on the road outside can be a bit much during the day, but it’s part of living in this part of New Delhi. We just keep our heads down and handle the paperwork as it comes. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s honest work that keeps us connected to our community.
