Shivam Properties & Motors is located at A-5 in the Dda Shopping Market in Paschim Vihar. We do things a bit differently because we look after both properties and cars. It makes the day pretty interesting. One minute we are talking about a flat for rent and the next we are looking at a used car someone wants to sell. The DDA market is a local spot where everyone knows everyone. We’ve been here long enough that people just drop their keys off with us. The office is usually full of papers and car keys. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. Paschim Vihar is a big area, so we spend a lot of time driving around. People stop by when they’re doing their shopping in the market. We don't have any sales pitches. We just tell people the price and show them the condition of the house or the car. It’s a lot of honest talk. Sometimes the market gets very busy on weekends, and we barely have time to sit down. We like the variety of the work. Dealing with motors and homes at the same time keeps us on our toes. We’ve built a decent life here just being regular people doing a regular job in the neighborhood. Most of our customers are just neighbors.
