Shiv Baba Ayurvedic Clinic

Down in the basement at B-378, you’ll find Shiv Baba Ayurvedic Clinic. We are tucked away near Market No. 3 in C.R. Park. It stays a bit cooler down here than it does out on the street, which is nice during the summer months. The smell of different herbs and oils is pretty strong as soon as you walk in. That’s just how it is with Ayurvedic work. I’ve lived around here for a long time, and I know most of the shopkeepers in the market. We get a lot of regulars who live in the blocks nearby. They come in for all sorts of things, maybe just to talk about their joints or how they aren’t sleeping well. I keep the jars labeled on the shelves, but sometimes I’m the only one who can find exactly what’s needed in a hurry. The lighting isn't the brightest since we are below ground level, but it makes the place feel calm. It’s not a corporate office with glass walls; it’s just a basement room with some wooden tables and chairs. We spend a lot of time grinding things up or mixing powders. It’s honest work. Most people find us by word of mouth or after they finish their grocery shopping at the market nearby. We just open the doors, sweep the floor, and wait to see who needs help that day.
