Being in Uttam Nagar means there is never a dull moment outside our windows. The office for Semac(P) Ltd. is located at G-1/464, and if you have ever visited this part of New Delhi, you know how packed the streets can get. It is a very lively area with shops and people everywhere. Our space inside is pretty simple. We have the usual stuff like chairs, tables, and filing cabinets. It is not one of those high-rise offices with glass walls. We prefer it this way because it feels more like a local business. The walk from the metro station is not too long, which is a relief for most of the team during the peak summer months when it is so hot. We usually keep some cold water in the fridge and try to stay productive despite the heat and the noise outside. The sound from the street is just part of the background music for our workday. We have been at this address for some time, and the neighbors all know us by now. Sometimes we order in lunch from the dhabas nearby when we are too busy to go out. The internet can be a bit slow when the weather turns bad, but we manage to get our work done regardless. It is just a regular office where we show up, do what needs to be doing, and then head back into the crowd at the end of the day to go home.
