Schindler

We are based at De 66 on the second floor in Tagore Garden. It is a nice enough area in New Delhi, and being on the second floor means we are a bit removed from the noise of the street. The office is a simple setup where we coordinate the Schindler operations for this district. Since we deal with elevators, it is always a bit funny that we have to take the stairs to get to our own desks most of the time. The space inside is quite practical. We have several workstations set up and a small area where we keep our technical documents and site plans. It is not a place with shiny floors or expensive art on the walls. We just have what we need to get the job done. The light in the afternoons is quite good through the front windows. Most of the people working here have been in the industry for years, so there is a lot of local knowledge floating around. We spend a lot of time talking to building managers and making sure our guys are out where they need to be. It is a lot of logistical work, really. We have a small table in the corner where we eat our lunch and catch up on things. It is a plain, honest workspace that serves its purpose well for us and the people we work with every day. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded, but we manage.
