Satija Paints Stores

Satija Paints Stores has been located at C-103 on Fateh Nagar Jail Road for a good while. You can usually tell exactly where we are by the stacks of paint cans sitting near the front door. The shop is not very large, so we have to use every single inch of shelf space from the floor all the way to the ceiling. It smells like linseed oil and thinners inside, which is something you get used to after about a week of working here. Jail Road is always moving, so there is a constant hum of traffic just outside our door. We spend a lot of time mixing colors and helping people figure out how much paint they actually need for their rooms. Sometimes we get customers who are not quite sure what they want, so we spend a lot of time showing them different charts and samples. The floor is covered in little spots of spilled paint from years of mixing, but it gives the place some real character. We are not a big hardware chain, just a local store where we know a lot of the neighborhood painters and contractors by their first names. They usually drop by in the early mornings to grab their supplies before heading off to their job sites. It is a practical business for us. We keep the stock updated and try to make sure we do not run out of the popular shades.
