Satguru Battery is located over in Ganesh Nagar B 114, which is part of the Tilak Nagar area. Dealing with batteries is heavy work, literally. I spend most of my day lifting those big lead-acid blocks or moving crates around the shop floor. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, as there is always a bit of dust or that sharp smell of battery acid in the air, but it’s what we do. The shop at B 114 isn't very large, so we have to be smart about how we stack the inventory. If you walk in, you’ll see batteries of all sizes for cars, bikes, and inverters lined up along the walls. Tilak Nagar is a crowded place, and Ganesh Nagar has its own rhythm with people always moving about. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t need a map to find anything in this neighborhood. Most people come to us when their car won’t start or their power backup at home fails, usually at the most inconvenient times. We just listen to the problem and see what we can do to help them out. There’s no fancy talk here, just practical talk about volts and plates and charging times. I usually have a rag in my pocket to wipe my hands before I talk to anyone. It’s a basic shop, doing basic work, right here in the middle of Tilak Nagar. That is how it has always been for us.
