Sarvodaya Dairy Farm

Our dairy farm office is at C-34 on Soma Bazaar Road. We are right in the Jeevan Park area of Utham Nagar. Being near the bazaar means there is always something going on outside. We start very early in the morning when most of New Delhi is still asleep. That is when the milk comes in and the bottles need to be sorted. The floor is usually a bit wet from cleaning the containers. We have a small desk where we keep track of the daily deliveries. It is a simple life. We aren't trying to be a huge corporation. We just want to make sure the families around here get their milk on time. Sometimes the fridge makes a loud buzzing sound, but we are used to it. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy to get around to it. Customers come in and out, some have been buying from us since we first opened. We talk about the weather or the local news while we work. It’s a bit dusty because of the road construction nearby, but that’s just how it is in Delhi. We just keep our heads down and focus on the cows and the milk. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting crates and moving things around. It's not a fancy office, just a place where fresh dairy starts its journey to the local breakfast table.
