Sangam Furniture

Our workshop at 72-1, Timber Block-2 in the Kirti Nagar W.H.S. is almost always covered in a thin layer of fine sawdust. That is just how life goes when you work at Sangam Furniture. Since we are situated right on the Main Road, there are always people walking by and peeking in. The sounds of saws and sanding machines are part of the background from early morning until we close up at night. We keep different types of wood stacked against the walls, just waiting for someone to decide what they should become. Sometimes it is teak and other times it is just basic plywood. The guys in the back are usually busy with wood glue and heavy clamps. This is not the kind of place where you will find polished floors or fancy lights. It is a workshop first and a shop second. We keep a small area near the entrance clear enough to show off a few finished chairs or a table. Most of the time, the rest of the space is taken up by half-finished projects. It is a bit of a maze to walk through if you do not know your way. We know exactly where the tools are, even if the place looks cluttered. Lunch usually happens right there at the workbenches while we talk about the news. We are just a local furniture spot doing our thing.
