Our place of work is at 34/24 West Patel Nagar in New Delhi. It’s a well-known part of the city and easy enough to find once you’re in the neighborhood. S R Dinodia has been doing this for quite a while now. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of people. It’s just a dedicated group of us who know our way around a balance sheet. The office is tucked into the 110008 area, and it has a very local feel to it. We don't have those glass-walled conference rooms you see on TV. We just have sturdy desks and rows of files. Most of the people who come to us are neighbors or have been recommended by someone we’ve helped before. We handle the usual stuff like income tax, audits, and keeping the books straight for small firms. It’s not the most exciting job in the world, but it’s important and we take it seriously. We try to be helpful without being stuffy about it. You might find us complaining about the heat in the summer or the traffic on the main road, just like everyone else. We take regular breaks for tea and catch up on what’s happening in West Patel Nagar. It’s a comfortable way to work. We just focus on getting the job done right so people don't have to worry about their papers. It is a simple, honest approach to accounting.
