S.L. Industries

You can find S.L. Industries over at F-57 in Mayapuri Industrial Area Phase II. If you have ever been to Mayapuri, you know it’s a place where things actually get made. It’s noisy, dusty, and there is a lot of metal moving around. Our unit is just one of many in this row. We’ve got our machines running most of the day, and the floor is always a bit stained with oil. That’s just the nature of what we do. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything. If you come by, you’ll probably see us in our work clothes, maybe with a bit of grease on our hands. We focus on the production side of things. There is a lot of shouting to be heard over the noise of the neighboring workshops, but we all get along. We’ve been in Phase II for quite some time now. We know the tea seller and the guys who fix the trucks on the corner. It’s a community of people who work with their hands. We don't write long reports or have meetings about strategy. We just look at what needs to be built and we get to work on the machines. The office is just a small corner with a desk and a computer that has seen better days. It’s a honest day’s work in a tough part of Delhi. We just keep the gears turning every single morning.
