Our office for Rv Akash Ganga Infrastructure Ltd is on the first floor of C-93/B in Hastsal Vihar. This is part of Uttam Nagar in New Delhi, which is always full of life and a bit of noise too. Being on the first floor helps a bit with the street noise but you can still hear the rikshaws and people outside most of the time. We do infrastructure work, which basically means we are involved in building and planning things that the city needs to function properly. It is not the kind of job where you sit around doing nothing. There is always someone calling about a site or a delivery of materials. We have our files and our computers and we spend the day making sure everything is moving forward. Uttam Nagar is a busy place and we fit right in with the rest of the businesses around here. Our space is functional and we use every bit of it for our drawings and project notes. It’s a practical setup for us. We don’t have any fancy decorations because we are usually too busy focusing on the construction details or the latest set of plans. Sometimes it feels like there aren't enough hours in the day to get through the list of tasks, but we manage somehow. We’ve been at this for a while and we know the streets around Hastsal Vihar quite well by now. It is just a normal office.
