Our place is located over in Ramesh Nagar at 4/1, and it’s a single-storey building which makes things pretty straightforward. Being in West Delhi, there is always something going on nearby, but our little corner is usually manageable. Rtm Hotels is basically run from a few rooms where we keep our files and take care of the administrative side of the hotel business. It’s not a flashy office by any means. We have some old wooden chairs for visitors and a few computers that we use to track everything. The neighborhood is mostly residential and small shops, so it feels like a real part of the community rather than some cold business district. We open up early, get the fans going if it’s hot, and start going through the bookings for the day. There is no big sign out front, just the address on the door. It’s a practical space where we focus on the logistics of keeping rooms filled and guests happy without making a big deal out of it. We often grab lunch from the local spots nearby, and sometimes the neighbor's dog wanders by the entrance. It is a very normal, local way of doing things. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone like that, just us sitting at our desks making sure the work gets done correctly.
