Our office is located at Wz-211 in Tihar Village, New Delhi. It is a very local spot and we like being right here in the mix of things. Rohit Kapoor & Co. is a small firm, and we mostly focus on helping the shops and residents nearby with their accounting needs. Tihar Village has its own rhythm, and we’ve settled into it nicely over the years. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a few rooms with desks and a lot of filing cabinets. We do a lot of GST work and basic income tax filings. People just walk in when they have a question about their taxes. We don't have a fancy website or a big sign. Most people just know we are here. It can get a bit crowded in the office during the months when taxes are due, but we try to keep everyone moving. My staff and I spend a lot of time on the phone with the tax department or typing away on our old computers. We use simple English and don't try to confuse anyone with big financial terms. We just want to get the numbers right so our clients can go back to running their own businesses. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. Sometimes the power goes out, or the street gets flooded, but we just carry on as best as we can until the work is done.
