Relief And You Foundation is located over in West Delhi, specifically in Patel Garden right near Dwarka Mor. Our office is on the third floor of the B-3 building. It’s not one of those glass buildings you see in the fancy parts of the city. We have a few rooms and a lot of papers scattered around. Getting up to the third floor keeps us fit since there isn't always a lift working right. Most days, we just come in, make some tea, and start looking at what needs to be done. It’s pretty noisy outside because of the traffic coming off the main road, but you get used to it after a week or two. We started this place because we saw things in the neighborhood that could be better. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us who live nearby and wanted a space to work from. People from the surrounding blocks wander in sometimes to ask questions or just to see what we are doing. We try to keep things simple and honest. There isn't any big secret to how we operate. We just show up, talk to people, and try to solve the small problems that pile up. The area around Patel Garden is busy, with shops and people everywhere, so there is always something going on. We like being right in the middle of it all instead of tucked away in some industrial park.
