Reake Clinic

Reake Clinic is located on the main 40 Feet Road in Prem Nagar II, specifically in U Block. If you know this part of the city, you know the 40 Feet Road is the heart of everything around here. There are shops for everything, from groceries to hardware, and we are right in the middle of it. The clinic is on the ground floor, which makes it easier for people to just walk in off the street. It’s a busy road, so there’s always the sound of horns and people talking outside our door. Inside, we have a basic setup with a waiting area and a couple of consultation rooms. The paint on the walls is a bit old, but we keep everything clean. We see a lot of families from the surrounding blocks. It’s the kind of place where you recognize the kids growing up because they’ve been coming here for years. We don't spend money on fancy brochures or shiny advertisements. Most of our day is spent just talking to patients and writing down notes. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, like it does in Prem Nagar, but we have a backup to keep the lights on. It’s a plain, working-class clinic. We show up in the morning, open the shutters, and stay until the last person is seen. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do, and we’ve been doing it right here for quite some time.
