Raj Overseas (India)

We operate Raj Overseas (India) out of 6/78 in Subhash Nagar. It’s a plain building, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s mostly just a lot of boxes and paperwork. We handle various overseas trade things, so there is always something being shipped or received. Subhash Nagar is a busy residential and commercial mix, so there's always activity on the street outside. We’ve been here long enough that the local delivery guys don't even need the full address anymore. Raj Overseas (India) isn't a big corporation with fancy titles. We all just pitch in where needed. Some days I'm on the phone all day, other days I'm helping move crates. It’s practical work. We don't have a marketing team writing stuff for us. We just rely on the fact that we do our job every day. The office at 6/78 is a bit cramped, especially when a big shipment comes in, but we make do. We like being in Subhash Nagar because it’s easy for us to get around from here. The fans hum all day and the tea is always hot. We don't need much else to keep the business going. It’s just a regular office doing regular trade work. Sometimes the phone rings too much, but that's better than it not ringing at all. We just take each day as it comes and try to stay organized.
