Rachna Clinic

Rachna Clinic is located at 218 Gupta Palace, which is on the second floor. We are right in the middle of Rajouri Garden, a place that never seems to stop moving. It’s a very busy commercial building, so you have to walk past all sorts of other offices and shops to get to us. Being on the second floor helps us stay a little bit away from the noise of the street, but you can still hear the life of Rajouri Garden buzzing downstairs. The clinic is not very big, just a few rooms where we see our patients. We have been in Gupta Palace for quite a while, so the walls have a few scuffs and the furniture is well-worn. It feels like a place that has been used and lived in. We don't have a receptionist who wears a uniform or anything like that. It’s just us, some chairs, and a lot of medical files stacked on the shelves. Most of the people who come to see us are locals who are already out doing their errands in the market. They might drop in because of a cough or some other small problem. If the lift is working, it’s a quick trip up, but otherwise, the stairs provide a bit of exercise. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. It’s just a straightforward clinic where you can get a checkup without any drama. We know the shopkeepers downstairs and they know us. It’s just how things work here.
