You can find us at F-8 in Bhagwan Dass Nagar, which is right in the East Punjabi Bagh area. It’s a pretty decent neighborhood and we’ve been here long enough that most of the locals know where the office is. R. K. Batra & Co. isn’t some massive corporation with a hundred branches. It’s just us here in New Delhi 110026, working on audits and tax returns. The office feels lived-in. There are stacks of folders everywhere and the smell of coffee is usually in the air. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. We just do the accounting work that comes our way. A lot of our clients are just regular people or small business owners from around Punjabi Bagh who don't want to deal with the tax office themselves. We sit down, go through the receipts, and try to make sense of it all. It’s practical work. The building itself is a bit older, but it serves us well. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy outside with the traffic, but we just close the windows and keep typing. We don't make big promises or use fancy words. We just look at the numbers and tell you what’s what. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but our little corner remains focused on the ledgers and records.
