Pravasi Ekta Sewa Foundation

Pravasi Ekta Sewa Foundation is tucked away in Old Mahavir Nagar, specifically at S-2/223 B. If you know Tilak Nagar, you know it’s a busy place with a lot going on. Our spot is right in the middle of all that West Delhi energy. We started this because we saw folks moving into the city who didn't really have anyone to talk to or help them get settled. It’s not a fancy setup. The office is small, and sometimes the fan makes a bit of noise, but it’s where we spend our days. We spend a lot of time talking to neighbors and hearing about what’s bothering them. It’s mostly just practical stuff, nothing too complicated. We aren’t trying to change the city overnight, just trying to help the person standing in front of us. Some days are slow, and other days it feels like ten people are talking at once. We like being part of the Tilak Nagar community. It gets loud outside with the shops and the people passing by, but that’s just how it is here. We keep our doors open for anyone who needs to sit down for a minute or get some help with local paperwork. It’s just us here, doing what we can with what we have. It is a bit messy sometimes, but we are honest about what we can actually do for people.
