We have been based here in East Punjabi Bagh for quite some time now. Our small office is located at House Number 5 on Road Number 29, right across from the HDFC Bank. It is a busy neighborhood, so there is always a lot of noise and movement outside our windows. Most of our mornings start with a simple cup of tea while we look over the sketches for whatever project is currently on our desk. We handle a lot of wood, paint, and fabric, so the workspace usually gets a bit messy by noon. It is not a fancy place, just a practical area where we figure out how to make rooms look decent for the people who live in them. Sometimes a client drops by just to check on a cabinet or a chair we are fixing up. We spend a lot of our hours talking about measurements and which colors will not show dirt too easily. It is hard work, mostly involving a lot of dust and heavy lifting. We do not have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know how to use a tape measure properly. People in the area know where to find us because of the bank across the street. We just try to get the jobs finished without too much fuss or drama. If a wall needs a fresh coat or a hinge is squeaky, we are the ones who get the call. (249 words)
