Down in Mayapuri at C-74-A, that is where you will find Aam Automotives Pvt. Ltd. It is an industrial area, so it’s always loud with the sound of machines and trucks moving around. Our place is pretty much what you would expect for an automotive business. There is usually some grease on the floor and parts stacked up against the walls. We have been working out of this spot for a while and it suits the kind of heavy work we do. It’s not a place where you’d want to wear a clean white shirt, that is for sure. We spend our days dealing with engines, frames, and whatever else comes through the door. The air smells like oil and metal, which is just how we like it. We have a small desk area for the paperwork, but most of the action happens in the back where the tools are. It gets pretty hot in the summer, but we keep the fans going and just get on with it. Dealing with cars and machinery is straightforward work, even if it is physically tiring. We know most of the guys in the neighboring units and we all sort of help each other out when someone needs a specific tool. It’s a tough neighborhood but it’s real and folks around here just want to get their vehicles back on the road.
