You can find Pericom Impex Llp at House No 39, on the ground floor of Block A in Inderpuri. It’s a pretty quiet spot compared to some of the other industrial hubs in Delhi, which we actually quite like. Our office is basically a converted part of the ground floor, so it feels a bit more like a home than a cold corporate building. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby with a fancy logo on the wall. Usually, you’ll just find one of us sitting at a desk near the door. We handle impex work, which means a lot of computer time and even more time on the phone. We don't use any of those buzzwords you see in business magazines. We just try to get the goods from point A to point B without any major headaches. Sometimes the neighborhood kids are playing cricket outside, and we have to be careful when we’re moving boxes in and out. It’s a very local, down-to-earth way of working. We don't have a big mission or a shiny vision. We just want to finish our tasks for the day and make sure the deliveries are on track. Some days are slow and we spend more time drinking tea than working, and other days we’re running around until late at night. It’s just how it goes for a small outfit like ours in Inderpuri. We’re just regular folks doing our jobs and keeping things moving along.
