Passi Leather Products Pvt. Ltd. is situated at H-25 in Bali Nagar. Even though the name sounds quite official with the "Pvt. Ltd." at the end, the reality of our daily life is much more grounded. We operate out of a building in a neighborhood that is mostly residential, so we see our neighbors every day. The first thing you notice when you walk into H-25 is the smell of leather. It is a strong, earthy scent that sticks to your clothes, but we have stopped noticing it after all these years. Our workspace is filled with cutting tables, sewing machines, and stacks of hides waiting to be used. We do not have a fancy reception area. If someone visits, they usually find us in the middle of the work floor with a tape measure around someone's neck or a pen behind an ear. We are a tight-knit group. Most of the staff live nearby, so we are more like a small community than a company. We spend our hours cutting, stitching, and checking the quality of what we make. Sometimes the piles of boxes get a bit high and we have to shuffle things around to make room. It is a busy, slightly messy environment, but we get the orders out on time. We take pride in the practical side of the business and keeping our heads down to focus on the work at Bali Nagar.
