Pariwar Shakti Foundation

You can find Pariwar Shakti Foundation at Plot No. S-2/129C in Mahavir Nagar. We are on the second floor, hence the SF in the address. Mahavir Nagar is a busy place, very lived-in and crowded. Our office is just a regular floor in a building. It’s not very big, but it’s enough for what we need to do. We have a few desks and a lot of binders filled with stuff that needs doing. The name of the foundation is about family and strength, but we don't go around shouting about it or putting it on billboards. We just do the daily work. The stairs can be a bit dark in the evenings if the bulb is out, which happens sometimes. We have a small balcony where we keep some plants, though they struggle a bit in the summer heat of Delhi. It’s a practical space. We don't have a receptionist; if someone knocks, one of us just gets up and opens the door to see who it is. Most of our day is spent on the phone or typing things out on our laptops. It’s not a glamorous job. We deal with a lot of local issues and people from the area who know us by name. We’ve been at S-2/129C for some time now, and the neighbors are used to us being there. It’s just a small team of us trying to stay on top of things. No frills, no corporate talk, just work.
