Parashakti Women Empowerment Federation

Parashakti Women Empowerment Federation is found on the first floor of F-47 in Milap Nagar, which is part of the Uttam Nagar area. It is a busy neighborhood with shops and houses all packed together. We have a simple office setup here. It’s not very big, but it’s enough for what we need. We spend our days talking to women from the local community and trying to figure out ways to help with whatever they are dealing with. We aren't some big government agency or a giant non-profit. We are just a small federation of people who live nearby and wanted to do something useful. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, but we don't mind. Uttam Nagar is always full of life, and being in Milap Nagar means we are right where the action is. We don't have any fancy marketing materials or anything like that. We just rely on people hearing about us from their neighbors. Most of the time it’s just us sitting around a table with some tea, working through paperwork or planning the next small project. It’s honest work and we try to keep it as simple as possible. We don't pretend to have all the answers, but we are here every day trying to make things a little better for the women around here. It can get loud outside with all the street vendors, but it keeps us energized. We just want to be a solid resource for anyone who needs us.
