Pain Care Management Clinic

We’ve been running the Pain Care Management Clinic for a while now. It’s a busy place. Most days start early because people show up before we even open the doors. Dealing with physical discomfort is hard, so we just try to keep things moving. The clinic is basically just a spot where people come when they can't quite move right or something is hurting them too much to ignore. We see a lot of the same faces from around the neighborhood. It’s not a fancy setup. We have the usual equipment and some chairs in the waiting area that have seen better days. When you walk in, someone will usually say hello, but we might be on the phone or helping another patient. That’s just how it goes here. The address is just listed as pain care clinic, which sounds a bit repetitive but it’s where we are every day. People find us well enough. We focus on the basics. If your back is out or your knee is giving you trouble, that’s what we look at. There isn’t much to the management part of the name other than trying to get through the day and helping people feel a little less stiff. Some days are louder than others. We don't have a big staff, so things can get a bit slow if a few people show up at once. We just ask everyone to be patient while we work through the list. It’s just us here.
