Our spot is at A-181 in Sudershan Park, which is a fairly busy part of New Delhi. It’s a typical neighborhood office where people are always coming and going. We deal with packages and courier work, so there are always boxes stacked up against the walls. It isn't a very large space, and sometimes it gets a bit crowded when a big shipment arrives. We have a small team of people who have been here for a long time. They know the regular customers by name. We don't use any fancy tracking systems that never work; we just keep a close eye on the ledger and make sure things get sent out on time. The noise of the street outside is constant, but you get used to it after a week or two. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just focus on the mail and the parcels that people drop off. Some days are stressful when the weather is bad and the bikes can't get through the water on the roads. We just wait it out and get back to work as soon as it clears up. It's a practical job for practical people. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just provide a place for people in the area to send their stuff. Most of our work is just sorting through labels and making sure the right bag goes to the right truck.
