We've been based here in Hari Nagar for quite some time now, right in Gali No. 3 near the Radha Krishna Mandir. If you walk down the lane, you can usually hear the machines running before you even see the sign for Nitin Mechanical Works Pvt. Ltd. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when everyone is opening up their shops and the tea stalls start getting crowded. Our workshop isn't anything fancy to look at, just a regular place with a lot of metal and tools lying around. Most of the guys here have been with us for years, so they know exactly where everything is kept even when the place looks a bit messy. We spend most of our day dealing with different mechanical parts and fixing things that people bring in. Sometimes the heat gets a bit much in the summer, but we keep the fans going and just get on with the work. The temple nearby is a good landmark because people often get lost in these narrow streets. We don’t really do much in the way of big advertisements or anything like that. People just know where we are and what we do. It’s a simple setup at E-2 Ram Pura, and that’s how we like it. We usually pack up by evening, clean the grease off our hands, and head home to get ready for the next day. It’s a lot of hard work but it keeps us busy.
