Nishtha Karm India Foundation

We are based over in West Delhi, specifically at House No. D-341 in the Nawada Housing Complex. Being on the ground floor in Block-D makes it easy for folks in Uttam Nagar to find us. Nishtha Karm India Foundation was started by a few of us who grew up in this part of the city. We saw that there were gaps in how people were getting help, so we decided to open this space. It’s not a fancy corporate office by any means. There’s usually a bit of dust from the road and the sound of children playing nearby. We like it that way because it feels real. We don’t have a massive staff, just a couple of regulars who handle the daily tasks. Our days are filled with small chores and meeting with people from the 110059 area. It can be a bit overwhelming sometimes when a lot of people show up at once, but we manage. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with big reports or glossy brochures. We just want to do the work that needs doing right here in Nawada. The neighbors are good people, and we’ve gotten to know many of them over the months. If you’re ever near the housing complex, you’ll likely see us working away. It’s a simple life, but it’s meaningful to us. We just take things one day at a time and see where we can be useful.
