M/S.Bhushan Power & Steel Limited, Jharsuguda, Orissa

Even though the main operations for Bhushan Power & Steel are out in Jharsuguda, Orissa, we handle a lot of the administrative side from this New Delhi office. We are tucked away in Virender Nagar, specifically on the 2nd Lane. It’s a residential-looking area for a big industrial name, but it works for us. The office is at Wz-215 C/ Vb-50, near the Janak Puri post office. We spend our days dealing with the steel industry's paperwork, coordinating between the plant in Orissa and the various departments here in the capital. It’s a busy place with a lot of back-and-forth emails and phone calls. Steel isn’t an easy business, and there are always logistics to figure out or reports to file. We don't have a big sign out front or anything like that. It’s just where the staff gathers to make sure the wheels keep turning for the bigger company. The environment is pretty standard—desks, computers, and a lot of tea being drunk while we work through the tasks. We deal with the power sector too, so there’s a lot of technical talk about output and supply. It’s a steady job for the folks here in New Delhi, keeping the link alive between the factory floor and the city’s corporate requirements. We just do our part to keep the steel moving and the records updated as things change daily.
