Our foundation is based in Hardev Nagar, which is part of the Burari area in North Delhi. Specifically, we are at C 73B on the third floor. You have to find Street Number 3 to get to us. Burari has changed a lot over the years, getting more crowded every day. Being on the third floor means we have to climb a lot of stairs, which can be tiring when it’s forty degrees outside. The office overlooks Street Number 3, and we can see the bikes and rickshaws going back and forth all day. It’s a very local vibe here. We don’t have a big corporate lobby. Instead, you just walk up and knock on the door. Inside, we have some bookshelves filled with old files and some basic furniture. It’s a bit cramped, but we make it work. Jharoda is just down the road, and the whole 110084 area feels very connected. We have a small window that doesn't close quite right, so we hear everything from the street. The light in the afternoons is quite bright and makes the room feel warmer. We just sit here and do our research and paperwork. It’s a simple life in a busy part of North Delhi. We don't need much more than our desks and a bit of quiet to get through our list of things to do. Sometimes the tea stall downstairs brings us a tray when we are too busy to leave.
