Mm Design & Projects

Our office is over in the Press Colony in Mayapuri. If you know this part of New Delhi, you know it’s a busy place with a lot of history. We’re in one of those Type 2 quarters, which we’ve set up for our work at Mm Design & Projects. It’s a tight space, but it fits what we need. We have a few computers and a big table for laying out all the project documents. Most of the time, the room is filled with the sound of someone typing or talking on the phone with a contractor. Being in Mayapuri, there’s always something happening outside, which can be a bit distracting, but we’re used to it by now. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us hunched over our desks. We deal with various projects, making sure the designs are practical and that we haven’t missed any details. It’s honest work and we’ve been doing it from this same spot for quite a bit. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is close, and the colony gets real quiet then. We usually just grab food from the local shops nearby. It’s a simple setup. We focus on getting the drawings done and managing the projects without making things more complicated than they need to be. It’s just a group of us trying to do a good job.
