We’re based out of New Delhi, specifically in the 110087 zip code area. It’s a busy part of the city, like most places in Delhi these days. We’ve been operating Metso India from here for a good while. Our office isn't anything you’d see in a glossy magazine. It’s just a place where we sit down, answer the phones, and look at spreadsheets for hours. There’s a lot of noise from the street, and we’ve gotten used to the sound of horns while we’re on conference calls. We don't have any big missions or goals written on the walls. We just try to finish the work we have for the day so we can go home to our families. Some days are better than others. Sometimes the server goes down, or the heat is just too much to handle, but we keep going. We deal with industrial equipment, which is a tough business to be in. It takes a lot of patience to get the parts right and the shipping sorted out. We don't have a marketing team to make us look better than we are. We’re just a group of employees trying to do a decent job for everyone involved. If you call us, you’ll talk to a real person, not some automated recording. We like keeping things simple and direct like that. It’s how we’ve always done it.
