Merchant India

Our place, Merchant India, is over at J-8/129 in Rajouri Garden. If you've ever been to this part of town, you know it's always humming with energy. We’re right in the thick of it. Our building is a standard size, with some space for storing things and a small area where we handle the administrative side of things. We deal with quite a variety of goods, so you never really know what’s going to be on the floor from one week to the next. It might be textiles one day and something completely different the next. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and trying to figure out the best way to move things around. The traffic in Rajouri Garden can be a real headache when we’re trying to get a delivery in, but we’ve learned to work around the busiest times. We aren't a huge corporation with fancy offices. It’s just a few rooms filled with desks, samples, and whatever else we need to keep things running. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. It makes the day go by a bit quicker. We’ve been at J-8/129 long enough that the local tea stall guy knows exactly what we want when we call him. It’s a good community to be part of, and we just keep doing our thing. Nothing fancy, just the daily grind of running a local business.
