Mats India Designs

Our place is in Janakpuri, specifically at C4C-308. It’s a residential block, so it doesn’t feel like a cold business district. Mats India Designs is run from here, and we have mats and samples spread out over almost every flat surface. It’s a bit like a home that turned into a workspace. We spend our time looking at designs and talking to the people who actually make the mats. It’s a lot of coordination. Janakpuri is a nice area, fairly green but still very busy with the local markets. We usually start our day by checking the messages and then moving on to the physical stock we have on hand. It’s not a massive operation. We are just a small team trying to keep things orderly. Sometimes the samples get mixed up and we have to spend an hour sorting them out by color or material. We don't have a big showroom with lights and mirrors. If you come by, you’ll just see us working at our desks or packing up a few items for delivery. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, though we do get stressed when deadlines are close. We just take it as it comes. We’ve been in this spot for a while and the neighbors know what we do. It’s a decent way to earn a living, focusing on simple things like floor coverings and textures. There is always something new to look at in the shop.
