Being near the police station makes the area feel a bit more secure, which is nice for a business like ours. We’ve been in Tilak Nagar for years. It’s a lively neighborhood with plenty of people walking by every day. Our shop isn't the biggest on the block, but it’s ours. We spend a lot of time organizing the displays and talking to the folks who drop in. Most of our visitors are locals who live just a few streets away. We know a lot of them by name. It’s a practical business. We don't have a team of hundreds, just a few people who know the trade well. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when several people come in at once, but we handle it. We don't use fancy scripts or sales tactics. If someone wants to see a ring or a chain, we just pull it out for them. The building itself is older, but it has character. We try to keep it neat, even if the boxes pile up in the back office. Every morning we roll up the shutters and start the day. It’s just work for us, but we take it seriously. We like being a part of the Tilak Nagar community and plan on staying at 5A/13 for a long time. It’s our little corner of the world and it suits us just fine.
