Malik Enterprises

We’ve been running Malik Enterprises from the first floor of building 196/1 in Maya Puri Phase 2 for a good number of years now. If you’ve ever been to C Block, you know it’s not exactly the quietest part of town. There’s always a truck backing up or someone shouting down the street. Our office isn’t much to look at, just a few desks and a lot of files that probably need sorting one of these days. We don't have a receptionist or a coffee machine that makes lattes. Usually, someone just goes down to the corner stall and brings back tea for everyone in those small glass cups. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer, but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving enough to get the work done. Most of the people working here have been around since the start, so we don't really need to talk much to know what needs doing. We just show up, handle the orders, and try to make sure everything is where it should be. It’s a bit cramped with all the inventory sitting around, but we manage. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit by the window for a bit until it comes back. It’s just how it goes in an industrial area like this. We aren't trying to be anything big or fancy. We are just a local bunch making a living.
