Mahila Helpline Foundation

We are located over in New Moti Nagar, specifically on the second floor of house number 4/54 in Phase-III. It’s a pretty busy part of Delhi, and things get a bit loud outside sometimes, but we’ve been here at Mahila Helpline Foundation for a while now. Most days are just spent answering calls or talking to people who walk in needing some help with various issues. It’s not a big corporate setup or anything like that. We just have a few desks and some chairs where we sit down and try to figure out solutions for the women who reach out to us. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, or the stairs feel a bit steep if you’re carrying a lot of papers, but we make it work. It's mostly just local folks here trying to do something useful for the neighborhood and the city. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us working on files or talking on the phone. The address is easy to find if you know the South West Delhi area well enough. We just wanted a place where people felt they could talk without a lot of red tape getting in the way. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of visitors at once, but that's just how it goes in this part of town. We are just a small group doing what we can from this office.
