M. M. Export

M. M. Export is located right here at D-1 in Tagore Garden Extension. We share this area with a few other businesses, so it’s always a bit active around the entrance. Our main thing is getting goods ready for export. This means a lot of packing, checking lists, and making sure the labels are right. It isn't glamorous work. The office is mostly desks and stacks of paperwork that never seems to go away. We’ve been at this address for years and we know the rhythms of the street. When a container needs to be loaded, everyone chips in to get it done. We don't have a big fancy sign outside. Most people who need us already know where we are. We handle various types of products depending on the season and the orders we get. It’s a lot of back-and-forth with the shipping agents. We just try to keep things moving so nothing gets backed up. The staff is small, just a few of us who have been together for a long time. We don't bother with corporate talk. We just say things like they are. If a shipment is stuck, we say it's stuck and try to fix it. It's an honest day's work in a busy part of town. We just focus on the task at hand and move on to the next one.
