M.K. Electric Vibrator Co has been at F-34, Sc-1 in Mansarover Garden for quite a long time. We even still use Post Box No. 6261 for some of our mail, which feels a bit old-fashioned these days but it works for us. Our workshop is full of heavy metal parts, wires, and the smell of grease and machine oil. We make electric vibrators for industrial use, so it’s not exactly a quiet or clean environment. There’s usually someone welding or grinding something in the back, and the front office is where the phones never seem to stop ringing. We’re a small outfit, and most of us have grease under our fingernails most of the time. We don't have a polished showroom because our customers are usually more interested in how the motor runs than how the walls look. Mansarover Garden is a busy spot in Delhi, and we’ve fit into this neighborhood like an old shoe. We’ve seen the streets change over the years, but inside our gates, things stay pretty much the same. We just keep building the machines and fixing the ones that come back for repair. It's practical work. We don't spend time on big meetings or planning sessions. We just look at the orders for the day and get the tools out. If something isn't working right, we take it apart and stay until it’s fixed.
