Luxmi Digital Studio

You can find us at 749/Gh-14 on the ground floor along the Guruharkishan Nagar Road. We are right near Tony Properties, which is the easiest way to tell people where we are in Paschim Vihar. The studio is a bit cramped because we have a lot of equipment like lights, tripods, and backdrops squeezed in. There are photos on the walls from years ago and some newer ones too. We do a lot of passport photos for people who are in a hurry. It’s a busy street outside with cars always honking and people walking by. We have been here in Delhi for quite some time and have seen the neighborhood change. We handle a lot of family photos and sometimes we have to go out for local events. The printer makes a specific whirring noise that we don't even notice anymore. Sometimes the shop gets dusty because of the road outside so we are always cleaning the glass counters. It is a small family-run kind of place where things are a bit informal. We don’t have a fancy waiting room, just a couple of stools for customers to sit on while they wait for their prints. It feels like a normal part of the local market. We just focus on taking clear pictures and making sure the colors look right when they come out of the machine. We often share a cup of tea while waiting for the prints to finish. It’s a steady pace most days.
