Being in an industrial area means it is always noisy around here with trucks and machines running nearby. Our floor is dedicated to labeling stuff, so we have printing machines and various materials for making labels that stick to different surfaces. It is a bit of a gritty place, which is expected in Mayapuri. We spend the day setting up the machines, checking the ink levels, and making sure the labels come out the right size and color. There is a lot of paper and rolls of plastic everywhere. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit narrow, and it can get quite hot in the summer with all the equipment running. We aren't trying to be a fancy design studio; we are a production shop that gets things done. People bring us their designs or tell us what they need for their products, and we figure out the best way to print them. It is a lot of checking for errors and making sure the machines don't jam up halfway through a run. It is hard work, but we have been doing it long enough to know the quirks of the equipment and how to keep it moving so we don't get behind on things or let anybody down.
