Lamba Couriers & Cargo

You can find us at G 11 in the Vishal Tower 10, right in the Janakpuri District Center. Lamba Couriers & Cargo is a busy little place. Since we are in the District Center, there are always people rushing around outside. Inside our office, it is mostly stacks of envelopes and boxes waiting to be sorted. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking where a truck is or why a delivery is running late. It is a lot of logistics and keeping track of numbers. We use old clipboards and a computer that has seen better days. The counter is where we meet everyone. People come in to send things to their families or for their own small businesses. We weigh everything on the big scale in the corner and write out the slips by hand mostly. It gets a bit chaotic when a lot of packages arrive at once but we have a system that works for us. We have been here in Janakpuri for a good while and the security guards and other shopkeepers are all friends. We don't have a uniform or a corporate script. We just talk to people and try to get their stuff moved from point A to point B without too much trouble. It is a lot of lifting and moving, but it keeps us on our toes every single day.
