Our little office is over in Madi Pur, specifically at D-5B in the Old Slum Staff Quarters near Paschim Puri. It’s a bit of a maze to find us if you aren't from around New Delhi 110063. The area is crowded and there is always someone shouting or a bike zooming past. We don't have a big sign or a fancy lobby. It is just a door in a row of doors. Inside, we have got our computers and a few old cupboards filled with records. It gets a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we manage. The electricity can be a bit temperamental sometimes, so we have a backup ready just in case. We aren't trying to impress anyone with how the place looks. It’s just a base for us to do our work. You might hear the neighbors' kids playing outside or someone cooking lunch nearby. That is just how it is here. We focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay organized despite the chaos of the city outside. It is a hardworking neighborhood and we fit right in. We take our lunches together usually, just sitting around the main table. It isn't a corporate setup by any means. We are just a group of people trying to keep things running smoothly from a small corner of the capital. We don't need much else to stay productive.
