Up here in Dwarka, New Delhi, we have our setup at Flat 720 in the DDA Flats Sector 17 A. It’s a residential-feeling area which makes it a bit different from a big glass skyscraper office. We are Knight Frank India Pvt Ltd. Being in a DDA flat gives the place a more local, neighborhood feel. We see a lot of the same faces walking by every day. Our work is mostly focused on the local property market, which in Delhi is always moving fast. We’ve got files piled up on the desks and a couple of computers that have seen better days. It’s not a fancy corporate headquarters, just a place where we get the work done. We spend hours talking to clients on the phone and trying to navigate the local regulations which can be a bit of a headache. Sometimes we have meetings right here at the table, and other times we are racing across Delhi to see a property before the sun goes down. The traffic in Sector 17 can be tricky, but we’re used to it. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or polished presentations. We just know the area well and we tell people the truth about what we see in the market. It’s a practical way to run things, and it works for us and the people who come to see us. It’s a bit cramped with all the paper, but we make it work somehow.
