Kautilya Aanvikshiki International Foundation

Our office is at 110-DMIG in Vikaspuri. It’s a standard residential area in the 110018 part of Delhi. We run Kautilya Aanvikshiki International Foundation from here. It is not a big glass building or anything corporate. It’s a workspace where we sit down and look at our research. We have a few rooms filled with books, papers, and coffee mugs. The name sounds very serious, but we are just regular people trying to be useful. Vikaspuri is a nice neighborhood. We have our little routines every day. We get in, check the post, and start on whatever documents are waiting. Sometimes neighbors stop in to say hello, which is nice. We don't have a receptionist. If you knock, one of us will come to the door. We handle international things through emails and calls, but the heart of the foundation is right here in this flat. It gets a little cluttered because we save everything we might need later. We prefer to keep things direct and simple. No one here wears a suit unless they absolutely have to for a meeting. We focus on our tasks and try to make sense of the work we have for the week. It works for us. We aren't trying to be something we are not. We just like to get our work done in a quiet environment without any of that fancy office pressure or marketing talk.
