Kataria & Associates

Kataria & Associates is based out of Bali Nagar E-5. It is an old house that we turned into an office space. The rooms are a bit small and the hallways are narrow, but we make it work. We have a lot of wooden cabinets filled with papers because we haven't gone fully digital yet. Kataria sits in the front room and the rest of us are spread out in the back. There is a small courtyard where we sometimes sit if the weather is nice. Bali Nagar is a busy neighborhood, so there's always something happening outside the window. We’ve been at E-5 for over a decade now. The carpet is a bit worn out in the spots where we walk the most. We don't have any fancy coffee machines, just a kettle and some instant powder. Most days are spent answering calls and writing things down in ledgers. It’s a very traditional way of doing things, but it’s what we know. We don't really have a big staff, just a few people who have been here since the start. It isn't a flashy place with glass walls or modern art. It’s just a sturdy old building where we do our daily tasks. We know the milkman and the postman by name. It’s a local operation and we like the familiarity of the street and the people on it. We just focus on our work.
