The workshop is located at A-4/2 in the Mayapuri Industrial Area, Phase-II. It’s a loud place most of the time because the machines are always running. Kanan Plastic Products is basically where we spend our whole day dealing with molds and raw materials. Mayapuri is a tough area with lots of trucks and dust, but it’s where the real work happens. We make various plastic items, and there is always a stack of boxes waiting to be moved out. The floor is usually covered with little scraps of plastic, and we spend a lot of time cleaning up after a big run. We’re not really into the corporate side of things; we just care about the machines working right and the orders getting finished. It’s a small team here, and most of us have been working with plastics for years. You get a feel for how the material reacts to the heat after a while. Sometimes the power goes out and everything stops, which is frustrating, but we just wait it out and start again. It isn’t a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. Our building is just one of many in this phase of Mayapuri, but we’ve made it our own. We keep our tools organized and try to stay on top of the schedule. There’s always someone coming in or going out with a delivery. It’s just a steady, working-class environment where we get things done, and we plan to stay right here doing exactly that.
